One of the most common questions we get is: "Where should we go for golden hour?" Because the property is split into two sections, the answer depends on where you are celebrating.
If You Are at The Upper Ranch:
• Trey’s Vista: This is the spot for epic, wide cinematic shots. The sweeping grassland leads your eye straight to the mountains. We love filming here at sunset because the sun dips behind the peaks, creating a perfect golden rim-light around you.
• The Tree-Lined Path: On the walk out to Trey’s Vista, there is a stunning path lined with pines. This is perfect for intimate, walking shots where you can hear the crunch of the gravel and just be together.
If You Are at The Lower Ranch:
• Mountainside: This ceremony site is surrounded by wheat fields and offers a more textured, rustic look.
• Angus Lake: For a softer, more reflective vibe, we can steal you away to the water’s edge. The light hitting the water in the late afternoon is pure magic on film.
• The Courtyards at Night: Once the sun goes down, the market lights in the courtyard create a romantic, warm glow that looks incredible on camera—perfect for a private last dance or a sparkler exit.
